Perimeter’s Staffing Leaders Connect to a Growing Workforce

Among other industries, staffing is flourishing in Perimeter. Though the current U.S. talent shortage is still ongoing, established staffing and professional services leaders like Insight Global, Spherion, and Randstad are investing in the area’s access to easier commutes and modern conveniences.

Tried-and-true staffing has found a home

Insight Global, which opened its 16-story headquarters here in 2020, was recently named the country’s 5th biggest staffing firm of 2024 by Staffing Industry Analysts. It’s also #10 of Forbes’ 2024 America’s best professional recruiting firms. The staffing giant doubled down on its Perimeter roots recently when it leased more space in Campus 244, investing in 130,000+ square feet of room to grow.

Insight Global stayed in Perimeter for its connection to Atlanta’s workers. Though their workforce hails from all over the metro area, the nearby Dunwoody MARTA station and ongoing I-285/400 updates keep commutes down. As company COO Tim Stutz told Atlanta Business Chronicle, “It’s 30 minutes to our building no matter where you are.”

Help wanted: recruiters, Atlanta area

With the U.S. Chamber of Commerce reporting 7.7 million open jobs in the country, but only 7.1 million unemployed workers, finding the right employees efficiently is more important than ever. Perimeter has the professional staffing resources to keep your headcount up.

Aside from Insight Global, Spherion (also on Forbes’ top recruiters list, at #28), Hoffmann Staffing Solutions, Randstad, and several more companies hold headquarters or locations in the neighborhood. It puts them within reach of some of Georgia’s top employers: Cox, State Farm, and WestRock.

Atlanta’s healthcare job openings are leading the growth rates: just in June 2023, the local healthcare sector increased jobs by 8.6%, doubling the U.S. healthcare industry average for the same period. As Georgia nursing homes work towards meeting new federal staffing minimums, that demand will only grow in the next few years.

The place to look for new talent

44% of Atlanta’s workforce lives within 15 miles of Perimeter, many of them in top neighborhoods like Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Brookhaven. Dunwoody alone has grown their population by 8% since 2019. More than 70% of Dunwoody residents have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, promising a skilled workforce, while the largest age group is 18 or under—which means more workers joining the market in future years. Sandy Springs still boasts the second largest resident total in metro Atlanta, 62% of which hold college degrees. With a healthy labor force and new businesses opening left and right, Perimeter is the place to find your new recruits.
